First leaf is engraved title. Plates 2-29 include emblems as well as foliated monograms, plate 100 consists entirely of 15 additional emblems. The 4 letterpress pages that follow plate 29 provide brief explanations of all emblems, with mottoes, and an index to the first series of monograms.
